Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can he leave the country with my child??

My childs fathers family is originally from Mexico (though they reside in the states), and they like to take trips over there. When my daughter goes to visit her dad, they sometimes take her over there! Can they do this?? It doesn't say anything about this on our court papers.

Can he really take her out of the state/country against my wishes? She's only 5!

Unless there is some restriction in the Final Decree, no prohibition exists for the child to go with her family. If you want to change this provision, you will have to file a motion to modify the terms of visitation.
