Re: Wont to leave home

You are not an adult under civil law, and therefore cannot enter a contract or apartment lease.

Under juvenile law, you are no longer considered a runaway, and will not be picked up as one if you leave home.

You will also not be picked up under a Missing Person report, provided you give your location to your parents and/or police.

If your parents are divorced, then one has primary custody, and they can complain to the judge regarding possession and child support, but usually, the consequences to you are minimal.

Life may be difficult at home -- but it is also extremely difficult on your own, especially without family to fall back on.
