Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I know someone who is trying to leave her "husband" and take her kids with her, but she's worried that police will get involved and she wants to know how she can do it without going through the hassle of a police report or trying to obtain a restraining order that may not get approved. How would she be able to do that? and what would she have to do?

Based on what has been written, there are a few questions which require answer to prior to any clear answer or direction being provided. First, has there been any allegations of family violence (female spouse or children)? Second, where is the female spouse wishing to take the kids? Third, why is the female spouse wanting to take the kids? Fourth, what will the male spouse say about the kids being taken? These are just some of the questions which require answers. Your "someone" who is trying to leave her spouse needs to consult with a local law firm to ensure that her and her childrens rights and interests are protected pursuant to the law.
