leaving home

at 17 in texas can u leave home legally. if so, how can i. b/c the cops are telling me no, 17 your can not move out. so if u don't mind please send something or tell me how a 17 year old can leave home. thanks

The moment you turn 18, you are an adult and you are free to do whatever you want.

Most law enforcement officers won't get involved in a 17 yeard old leaving home. Perhaps your law enforcement has a local policy in your part of Texas.

Removal of disabilities takes awhile and can be expensive. Most 17 year olds can't afford all the costs and are not able to prove that they are self-supporting.

My deposit for an "removal of disabilities" in Harris County is at minimum of $3,000.
