Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
leaving the state with child before temp orders
can a wife leave the state of texas before temp orders? she filed a petition, when we decided we needed to seperate, she took some items and left the state 2 days later to move in with a guy she met on the internet. there are no court orders, but can she do that and refuse to let me see our child? she emptied the account and left. i know she has to be here for temp orders next week, but will all this look bad on her? i can prove months of cell phone calls and emails to the guy but don't think it would matter. my only concern is keeping the child here. which she's always wanted to be able to leave the state. which if I wouldn't have discovered what i did i would've let her. main question is will the court let her leave. she has no job and no license and both families are in texas, either in SA or within 2 hrs. i do have an attorney, but her attorney won't return calls or tell us where they are.

You need to talk to your attorney.

You have an attorney. These are still questions you need to be discussing with him or her.
