Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I left my husband in dallas last wed. 10/14/10. It was a domestic violence situation that I had to get me and my children out of. Anyway I am in Spring Tx now with my parents. He knows we are here. My problem is I need to file for legal seperation and was told that I have to wait 90 days to establish residency before I can do anything legal. I am trying to get a number for legal aid in dallas to see if they could help. I saw your website and thought I would ask you too.

I am a Texas Agreed Divorce Lawyer - offering a divorce online.
I charge a flat fee of $875 (my fees will soon increase to $975) to file for divorce - my fee includes filing fees which average $250.
As long as your stay with your parents is only temporary (you don't intend to reside with them) we may be able to claim venue in the Dallas court (plus we can probably get jurisdiction and venue from your husband in Dallas, if that is where you want to file).
Feel free to contact me for a free phone consultation 8AM to 11PM (7 days a week) at 512-827-7548.
Good Luck!
