Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
What is the legal age to move out in texas?
My step sister will be 17 in three months. Currently she is living with our aunt, however her mom wants her to come back home,so our aunt is forcing her to go back. I am 18 and have my own apartment. If when she turns 17 she comes to live with me what problems may i incur, and what can the law do as far as returning her to her mom?

A 17 year-old's parents have a right to decide where she will live. Your step sister cannot move out without her parent's permission. You could be charged with the crime of harboring a runaway.
