Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have legal conservatorship over my niece and nephew, their mother did not relinquish her parental rights. They have been with us for about seven years now. My nephew "A" has been getting more violent and physical, due to an anger issues we haven't been able to get help for. My child "R" (the youngest) is afraid of him and I do not want to leave him alone with A anymore. I sleep with my door locked with R... and I do not feel safe in my own house. My question is , I can no longer give him the help he needs. Law enforcement cannot help proactively, I don't have money or take time off for a drawn out court time, and child protective services will not help since the case is closed in their eyes (it was their previous case). Is there any way to resign my conservatorship quickly to A so he can get the proper help he needs?

I don't know who you resign your conservatorship to -- have you contacted MHMR? Have you sought out private placement agencies for behavioral disorders? You may have no choice but to involve the courts, requiring time and money to get assistance. You can petition the court, and name his mom and dad as respondents, have them served, and ask the Court to force mom and dad to foot the bill. It would be a novel case, but there may be a legal solution. The Court would likely appoint an amicus for the child to try to find him help; or even force CPS involvement.
