how old do you have to be to move out legaly in texas?
is it ok in texas to date someone over 18 if your 17 ?

You are not legally an adult until you are 18 years of age.
Once you are 17, however, you cannot be charged with runaway or truancy. If family court has an order requiring visitation or custody, there could be contempt charges against a parent or guardian if it is violated.
An 18 year old does not commit a crime by dating a 17 year old.
