Legal Guardianship of Grandchild
How can grandparents get legal guardianship of a grandchild living with them when the parents cannot be located.

You don't want guardianship which is a probate matter. You WANT custody which is a family law issue.
You must have "standing" to get custody. If you have had the child in your home for over 6 months and neither parent has lived in the home with you, you have "standing" to ask the court for custody.
If you can't find the parents, they will be "served" by publication and attorneys will be appointed to try to locate the parents.
It's a lot easier if everyone agrees, but it can still be done if no one agrees.
