Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Is it legal for one party to record a phone conversation without the other party knowing, and then try to use it in court? My ex is trying to use a "recorded conversation" in court to get what he wants. Is this legal if I had NO knowledge of him recording this?

You need to talk to your attorney.

I believe in Texas only one party needs to know about the recording!

People do this all the time!

However, it is difficult to get "recordings" into the record. Also, the entire recording gets into the record!
