Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
What legal recourse in there to make my attorney stay current on my case. My attorney has had my signed Temporary Orders for over two weeks and has not sent them back to my exhusband's attorney so that they can be file and we can get the child support set up. I have been separated from my husband since 11/16/2010 and appeared in court in December to discuss preliminary papers.

Your recourse is to fire your lawyer and hire a new one. Write him a letter like this:
Dear Mr. Johnson,
I want to hire another lawyer, and would like for you to withdraw from this case immediately. Please let me know if I owe you any money. Please let me know when I can come pick up my file.
