Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My legal rights during my X's Summer possession

My former husband is refusing to allow me to see our children at all during his time of summer possession (the month of July), except for the agreed upon weekend he is forced to allow me. Even though we live in the same town. I know it is wrong ethically, but I'm guessing legally I have no rights here. Am I wrong?

Re: My legal rights during my X's Summer possession

If your decree is standard, and the decree only provides for a single weekend during July, then you are stuck with that.

If you can establish a significant reason for modifying the guideline visitation, then you can file for a modification of the decree. It is unlikely to help you this year, but might be changed for future years.
