legal temp custody

my sister is filing her divorce buy her self with out a lawyer and she is trying to find out how to file temparary custody of her 2 kids her soon to be x husband just got out of jail and he has been in jail for demestic abuse and now he told her that if she lets the oldest kid go to school he will pull her out can you help us bu telling us the steps that we need to go through to file a Petition for Custody?

Your sister needs to hire an attorney. If her funds are limited, she can contact me and I might be able to find someone to help her.
