Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Im legally married in Texas, I just went to the court house and married through the justice of the peace. My husband left me about 2 years ago and i can not find him. even his family has no contact with him. how can i get a divorce? i heard something about if he abandoned me i could get a divorce without serving him? whats the best option? thank you!

File for divorce and serve him by publication or alternative service. He will have to be served, but not necessarily by giving him the papers personally. Once you file for divorce, hire a private process server (I use Perfect Process and Lawyers Civil Process). They will know how to accomplish service by publication and alternative service as the case may require.
