Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Legel Seperation

My husband and I have agreed to separate. I am in the middle of doing treatments for a head injury. We are staying in an extended stay motel. He has agreed to pay for everything while I am doing treatments. I was wondering if a hand written document was legal on this. It was witnessed and signed by my 18 year old son. Thank You,

Tina

You really need to talk to a good family law attorney. Your hand written document is not going to pay the hotel bill, at the most it might give you the right to sue him later. Feel free to call my office for an appointment.

You need to visit with an attorney. The handwritten document is of limited, to no value to you. I would be glad to sit down with you and discuss all of your rights if you were to go forward with a divorce. If you are interested in visiting more about your issues, please contact me directly.
