Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I live in Collin County Texas. I am a father to a wonderfully amazing 3 y/o little girl. Me and her mother have had some discrepancies over her sleeping (sexually) with another man. I moved out, and without me to pay the bills she has no income-we also filed our taxes jointly this year ( as we have for 5 years) I was told when the money comes in from our taxes to give her half to be fair to both of us. (Sounds like alot of what unmarried young people go through) we never agreed to be married but we've been living together for five years. Should I seek to pay child support to see my daughter? The Mother is making it difficult to see my child- what steps should I take to take care of my little girl? I work two jobs, but I'm not filthy rich- I'll pay my child support. What should a father do?

Hire a family lawyer to establish paternity and child visitation. You do not have to be married (by law or common law) to do this. You will be ordered to support you child, and you will be given a visitation schedule that you can then enforce through the court if she violates it.
