Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I currently live with my husband and his family in Houston,TX. For the past 4 years that I have been living with them my mother-in-law has been watching my sister-in-laws children, everyday for no less then 6 hours a day, and most weekends as well. This is due to the fact that the children's parents were never married and have been off and on for the entire duration of the childrens lives. Currently the parents have been separated for 10 months. It was about 2 weeks ago when the childrens mother decided that my mother and father-in-law would no longer be permitted to see her children. Can she legally do this and can we legally do anything to get visitation?

The short answer is yes.

Basically, Mom is in control. If you want to see the kids, be nice to her!

The father needs to go to court and get court ordered visitation.

He needs to talk to an attorney NOW!

I highly recommend PATRICIA BUSHMAN. Her phone number is 713-807-9405. She will not talk to you on the phone. He needs to make an appointment and go in to see her. The first appointment is free. She will quote a price during the appointment.

Please tell Pat that FRAN sent you to her. I rent space in her office.

Good luck!
