Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I live in San Antonio Texas and my wife left to chicago 8 months ago... She made me believe that she was coming back to San Antonio with our three small children. Since moving to chicago she has placed my kids in day care and started working in August at the county court house. It seems she has established residency and wants a divorce. I am not sure what my rights are and I don't want a divorce and I want my kids. My wife was sexually abused by her stepfather and he resides in the house that she has returned to. I need to know what to do and how to file my income tax.

She has established residency, so the divorce suit will be heard in Cook County, IL. I'm sorry that this happened to you. Letting her leave with the kids for more than 6 months was a mistake.
Unless you reconcile, you will get a divorce. What you need to do is hire an attorney in Chicago to fight for your kids. On the one hand, it will be hard for you to get your kids back because you let them go for so long. On the other hand, if you can convince the court that the kids are living in a dangerous home, you have a better chance.
Good luck!!
