Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in Scurry County, Texas. I had a child with a woman who lives in Taylor County, Texas. I never see them or plan to have anything to do with the child. I never signed the birth certificate or taken a DNA test. I recieved a card in the mail with an appointment to the child support office made by the mother. I want to waive all my rights to the child. How do I go about doing that?

Sorry, but you can't do this.

What you want to "waive" is the duty to pay child support for 18 years.

If Mom agreed to it AND the Judge thought it was in the child's best interest, you could ask the court to terminate your parental rights (it's not a "waiver"). But this won't happen.
