Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in Texas, i had a baby and was not married.

I have my 7 month old baby every sunday, monday, and wed plus every other weekend.

The dad has him tuesday and thursday plus every other weekend.

Should i still recieve child support?

File a paternity suit.
