Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I live in Texas and my child lives in New Mexico with his grandparents. His mother who was absent in his life due to drug problems passed away at the age of 30 in March of 2010. I spoke with my son periodically and the grandparents fail to notify me of this situation untill Feb. of this year. How do I find out if a judge has given custody of my son to someone else.

Check in the court records of the county or counties of the child's residence. To get custody you need to hire an attorney licensed to practice in the state where he resides
