Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in Texas and my child support ended almost a year ago. The mother says she is taking me back to court for unpaid medical bills. In our divorce decree, it states she has 10 days to notify me of medical bills to pay half of. I have received a ceritifed letter once from her on some bills totaling around 600.00. MY question is how far back can she bring medical bills to court for and if she never notified me on any bills but the above stated ones, what am I responsible for? She says the ag's office is telling her I will have to pay for all the bills no matter how far back they are even if she ever informed me of them. Thanks.

Find a family lawyer that practices in the the court where your wife would file and ask for free initial consultations and get their view on your question.

If she takes you to court, or you get a letter from the AG's office then you have an issue. Until then, all you have is her word as to what the AG told her. She may be lying, have misunderstood the AG or the AG may be wrong. The attorney she spoke with may not have reviewed the divorce decree.
