Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I live in Texas and I have 2 children with my ex wife, they are 6 and 8. In our divorce decree the geographical location is restricted to just Wilbarger county which is the county we currently reside in. My ex wife is moving to Cisco Texas which is approximately 2 hours from here and my 8 year old wants to go live with her, my question is if I let her go live with her mom is that going to jeopardize my 6 year olds geographical location living with me, Another question I have is I want it in papers stating that she cannot take my 6 year old so I want to be the primary parent over her, If we draw up a paper stating she is to stay with me and my 8 year old is to stay with her and both sign and date and have a notary witness and sign the paper will that hold up in court without an attorney?

No your idea is not legally binding. I'd hire an attorney and do it the right way.
