Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I Live in Texas, we are a common Law state, what are the legal steps of a divorce and can he make me move out of the house we brought together and have live in as husband and wife for 3 years now. the only thing is the house is in his name but everything else is in my. What is my legal right.

If you satisfy the requirements for an informal marriage, then you should file for divorce. Only a court order can force one of you to move out. Property and debts acquired during the marriage (except through gift or inheritance, and kept separate) will be community property, regardless of whose name it is titled in.
