Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in Texas and my daugther is 5 yrs old. Both her mother and I had a CPS case a few years ago. I was under the unserstanding that it was closed and we completed everything required from CPS. I now have been informed from my daugthers mother that my parental rights have been terminated. I know nothing about this and don't really know what steps to take to see if what she says is true. Do I contact CPS? Get a attorney? What? please help...

I recommend that you hire an attorney. However it would be very unusual for this to happen without your being served.
