Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I live in Texas and I am getting divorced. There is no mortgage on our house. Both of our names are on the deed to the house. Is there any kind of paperwork (quit claim deed, interspousal transfer deed, etc) that can be done to remove my husband's name from the deed? I would like to get a loan to pay him for his half interest in the house, but want to make sure his name is off the deed BEFORE I apply for a loan. He has indicated willingness to sign any such paperwork. I would like advice on the best way to handle this. Thank you.

He can sign either a quitclaim or a special warranty deed. It transfers to you all of his interest in the house. A lawyer shouldn't charge you more than $100 for this.
