Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I live in Texas, and my fiance is in prison in Wisconsin we want to get married by proxy in my county. In order to do so we must have the paperwork notarized. The problem is the records department in the prison is refusing to do so. What other options do we have to help get the paper notarized. Thanks in advance.

You may want to address your question to Wisconsin attorneys - but my guess is that the response will be that your fiance is in the custody of and under the rules and regulations of the Wisconsin Dept of Corrections, and they have no obligation to provide him with a notary public for the purpose of getting married.
