Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I live in Texas and I am about to fill out the divorce decree. My father and I bought a car togeather and I was told I have to put it in the divorce. My question is How do I put it in divorce, community or seprate property?.... I bought it after we separated and I don't want him to have it

In the decree, you award to the husband and to the wife the COMMUNITY PROPERTY that each one gets. Two lists.
If something is SEPARATE property, the decree says, "The following property is set aside as the separate property of the Wife: One 1999 Nissan Altima automobile, vin *******6766."
