Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

We live in Texas. My husband went to court on August 29, 2011 to finalize his divorce. Judge hit the gavel and said divorce granted. We waited the 30 plus days and got married Oct. 2,2011 but found out the judge didn't sign the final decree until Oct. 21, 2011. Are we legally married since judge didn't sign on the 29th?

Oops. That happens more often than most people think. Technically, no, you're not legally married yet, but you will be on November 21, assuming no one files a notice of appeal, motion for new trial, etc. on the divorce. Just hang tight and wait it out--basically, as long as it wasn't intentional, you're still living together in a couple of weeks, and nothing vital got signed by either of you after your "marriage" that the validity would depend on your being married when you signed it, it's a no harm, no foul type situation.
