Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I lived with my daughter's grandmother for 2 months in 2006. I left, because of the chaos she was causing. She wouldn't let me take my stuff. Then she finally let my mother pick it up, but the grandmother had stolen some stuff, which some of it was my journals from 1998. She used them in court, which is a whole other story. I have asked for the journals and my other stuff for several years, but she tells me that her lawyer says they are evidence although there is no court proceedings going on. Do I have the right to get these back? If you need more about this, I will be happy to explain everything. I am disabled and do not have a lot of money to pay...

Suggest you go to your local legal aid office. You need to act promptly as it appears that your claim may soon be barred by the statute of limitations.
