Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am currently living in Amarillo, TX and want to file for a divorce. If I were to move out of state to Kansas can I file from there, or do I need to file in TX.?

Don't know what the residency requirements are for Kansas. In Texas you have to live here at least six months (and in the county where you are filing for 3 months) before you can file.
