Living with someone not yet divorced
The guy that is living with me is not yet divorced. He has filed for a divorce but has not been finalized. We have been living together for 1 yr. 6 mos. His wife moved out while he was in the hospital having lung surgery. We meet about 6 months after she left. Everything we have belonged to me before we meet and started living together except for a truck that I purchased last May. Everything is in my name, he has nothing in his name. The only thing we have together is a checking account. Can I be held responsbile for anything in his divorce? Can I lose my property?

I would not have anything in both names -- especially a checking account. His wife can ask that all records regarding this account be disclosed.
If his name is on the vehicle, it is part of his community property.
