living together

If I own a home and I let a friend live there with me does he have any rights to my property? if this is the law what kind of paperwork do i need to protect me?

Just living on your property does not give him any rights to it. If it did, every renter would be fighting for ownership.

The friend does not acquire any ownership interest in the house by paying rent, utilities, etc.
