Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I took out a loan for a mobile home and land package. The loan was in my name only. Seven years ago I divorced And left everything to my ex. For the past seven years She has lived there and made the payments, But she never put the property in her name. I want to buy a home But with the existing loan in my name I can't. The only way she will refinance the home is it I pay all the cost. She said if I bother her again about it She will abandon the house and not tell me. What legal options do I have?

Merely putting the property "into her name" won't solve your problem. You need your name off the mortgage and you cannot force a mortgage company to give her a mortgage. She might not qualify for a mortgage - bad credit, not enough income, etc.

I recommend that you find a real estate attorney in your area and meet with the attorney in person to discuss your options.
