Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was in a long distance relationship with a woman in Georgia. I live in Texas. She told me she couldn't get pregnant due to a medical condition. She did get pregnant and ended the relationship shortly after. She assured me I would have no financial obligations to the child but could still be a part of his life. The child was also given her last name instead of mine. She is now seeking child support for my now 1 year old son. What are my rights? What should I do? Can I force her to change his name to mine? Please help....

1. Hire an attorney NOW!

2. If the child is a Georgia resident, you need a Georgia attorney, NOT a Texas attorney!

3. Hire an attorney NOW!

4. Even if she "tricked" you, you are obligated to support the child!

5. In Texas you can force the child to have your last name, I don't know Georgia law.
