Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I made $36,508 last year. Can the judge legally set my child support level at the percentage to include an additional income of $300 per week, tell me to earn more money & order me to pay up to $500 per month for day-care? Currently ordering me to pay $864.24 per month. (current divorce case in Austin, TX)

You might want to look at section 154.123 of the Family Code.
Child support is based on your income from ALL sources.
If you believe that the judge has set your child support at the wrong amount, you can file a request for findings. The judge isn't allowed to pull numbers out of thin air; he has to have a reason for his ruling.
The request looks like this:
COMES NOW Me, Respondent herein, and requests the Judge of this Court to state in writing the findings of fact found by him separately from the conclusions of law, and to file the findings of fact and conclusions of law with the clerk, so that they shall constitute a part of the record.
