Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Do I have to make my children go to their dads?

It is fathers day weekend and one of my daughters has chosen to be saved and the baptism was scheduled for Sunday by the church and they both have a performance on Friday as a part of their vacation bibleschool, they don't really want to go to his house , they say they never do anything. Do I really have to make them miss out on what is impotant to them?

Yes you do. I recognize that these events and conflicts are very hard on the children -- but it is one of the consequences of divorce. Sometimes these things can be negotiated. Possibly dad will bring them to these events.

Just to amplify Ms. Langford's very capable answer. Check the order and see if there is an exception for "choosing to be saved" or "we never do anything". If you find that language, OK. If not, you will be the one found in contempt and your daughters can visit you in jail. Good Luck.
