Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

what makes a sopeana legal?

What makes a sopeana legal? I had a sopeana delivered to a bank for a divorce and the lawyer said to provide money and if they don't accept it they are not liable to show up? is this true?

I am not sure this is what you are referring to, but in Texas you must tender a $10 cash witness fee to a subpoena. Whoever is serving the subpoena would have known that.

If your witness is an expert witness, they will need to be paid for their service before showing up.
