The Texas Family Code is available on line. The information you are looking for is in Chapter 2 of the Texas Family Code.

In Texas, I don't know about any other states -- You CANNOT marry --

(this is summarized from the law)

1. an ancestor or descendant (a parent or a child)

2. a brother or sister

3. a parent's brother or sister (an aunt or uncle)

4. a son or daughter of a brother or sister (your niece or nephew)

So, it really is ok to kiss your cousin!

Good luck!
