Possible Marriage
Girlfriend has MS. If I should marry her, is there any way to protect my assests if she goes down and has to be in a nursing home for 10 years. Can my 401K assets be protected??

You could do a pre nup and a post nup. Then you'd need to keep all of your accounts separate.
However, I suspect that her doctors will expect you to pay her bills if you are her spouse.
I urge you to pay for an hour or two of an experienced family law attorney and perhaps even an estate planning attorney to discuss the pros and cons of marriage when health issues are a concern.
It will offer you peace of mind and give you the knowledge you need to decide the best for both of you.
