marriage laws in texas

I'm in iraq right now and I got an email

from a chick saying because she had documents where her first name and my last name were together she got us married legally in texas without me being there to sign anything is that possible?

If she tried to do a common law marriage, if you don't agree to be married, then you are not married.

Merely getting your last name on a document is not enough.
