Re: Marriage
You need to talk with a good family law attorney as soon as possible. I'm not sure where you are located but if you are in the Houston area feel free to call my office.
Re: Marriage
I agree with Pat Bushman. You need to sit down with a family law attorney as soon as possible.
I know Pat and I highly recommend her.
(Tell her that I said that! LOL)
PS - This happens more than you would think. It's complicated but Pat can help you fix it.
Re: Marriage
Based on what you have written, it appears that your second marriage may be considered void due to your first marriage still being in effective. Unfortunately, this does happen quite often and can be corrected. You really need to meet with a local family law firm to fully discuss your options. If my local family law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my paralegal Tina ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.
Re: Marriage
If the first marriage did not end in a proper divorce, then your second marriage could be considered void. The matter can be corrected by finalizing the divorce. I am a board certified specialist in the field of family law, practicing in the general Houston area. Please contact me directly if you care to discuss your available options.
