Marriage Validity
I married a Philipine citizen in the U.S.A. who is still married to a Philippine citizen in the Philippines,Is my marriage to her valid even though she divorced him while she was here and he was in the Philippines

The Texas Family Code says that if a marriage is invalid at the time it takes place but the facts change so that the impediment (in this case, the pre-existing marriage) is removed (in this case the prior marriage is ended), then the current marriage becomes valid. In effect, the divorce validated the this marriage.

If her divorce was legal here (wherever she got it), then your marriage is legal here. One of the first rules is - was her husband properly served according to international and Phillippine law. That may be a problem. I don't know if her divorce is legal in the Phillippines. So she might have a problem there.
