Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Married in a foreign country and getting divorced in USA

I am from Latin America and I got married in my country. My husband and I are now permanent residents in USA and we want to get divorced. Can we do it here (USA)without going to our country? How?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, you can get a divorce here, assuming you are legally permanent residents, have lived in the state for six months, and the county for 90 days.

I agree with the first attorney.

From your zip code it looks like you live in the Houston, Texas area.

If so, the prices at my law firm are competitive.

There are 3 attorneys and we've all been licensed over 10 years.
