Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I married to my girlfriend in high.school. She was 16, i was 18. Her parents signed the "parental consent form" before we got the license. We now need to get a divorce. We have been married about 7 months. I know that when you marry a minor you become their legal guardian. I want to know what the legal ramifications will be if i divorce her. Am I legally liable for her well being as her "legal guardian" after we are divorced? What does this mean for her?

Thank you so much for your help.

When your wife got married, the law considered her emancipated (that means that she became as an adult). So if she is divorced she still remains in the same status (like an adult). It seems such a shame to consider divorce so soon. You should really think about obtaining counseling first.
