Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Not married and leaving state with minor child.

I came to visit my mother in Tx and while I was down here my spouse called me and told me he was moving on. (Were not married by the way) He had found someone else, and then he went on to say he was going to get me in trouble for leaving the state with the baby. We haven't lived with him for six mos now. Can he get me in trouble for this, and what can I do if he tries to come and take the baby?

Re: Not married and leaving state with minor child.

If there is not a court order that you cannot leave your state with the child then you have done nothing wrong--unless there is something you are not telling us. You should file a SAPCR suit in Texas now!!
