Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Married in Mexico - legal in US?

My daughter and her fiance were married in Mexico and both are legal US (TX) residents. Is the marriage legal in Texas and how do they go about registering it, if it is?

Re: Married in Mexico - legal in US?

Based on what you have written, it would appear that the marriage is valid and not void. As for registering the marriage, they should take the marriage certificate to the county clerk, get the certificate filed, and pay the filing fee.
