Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I got married in Mexico a few years ago. My husband and I both live here in the US and are now having problems and no longer live together. We want to know if our marriage is valid here in the US; we live in Texas and do we have to file for divore? The is nothing to dispute.

Yes your marriage is valid. If a marriage is valid in Mexico, it is recognized here. If you want to split up, you will need to file for divorce. Since you have no property or children, it should be a fairly quick and uncomplicated process.
