Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I got married 3 months ago and the wife always had a temper. I knew that going in but it has become worse. Got so bad I left the house with nothing but my phone, pants, shirt and car. No shoes, nothing. She moved money out of our account. Lucky for me I had a friend loan me some cash to get a place for a week. I need clothes for work, my wallet and company laptop. I also take medication for a heart attack last year. She is refusing to let me come get some things. What can I do?

You can call your local policing agency (sheriff, constable or police) and see if they will escort you to your property to remove a few things. You will need proof that it is your residence - driver's license or utility bill. They might help you - depending on their availability. You need to be in and out in a few minutes - they don't have time to help you move all your stuff. You can bring some friends to help too. If she says the stuff belongs to her, you will need proof it is yours or you will need to go to court and try to get it back.

If they won't help you, then immediately hire an attorney and file for divorce asking for temporary orders.

I hope this helps.
